So I got my question from my Jan 3 post answered, " Ok, here is my question, did Texas just give him 250k with no paperwork? Dose Cooper not sign something saying he will show up or give back the cash?" The answer is no he did not get any cash, he had to show up on Jan 17 to get half the money. Riley decided that he is better suited mentally for football than baseball, I totally agree, and told the Rangers "no thanks, I am playing football"
