It's just a sick feeling right now. That deer in the headlights look. That's how I feel.

turn of good luck?

Well, was good luck after all? I tried for over an hour to buy WS tickets this morning...not happening. So now I at least have the 1 ticket I got on Thursday...It will be fun but I wish I could have friends with me.

Oh Yeah!

Your World Series Ticket Opportunity Begins Tomorrow

Congratulations! You are a winner for the 2010 Texas Rangers World Series Ticket Opportunity. We are pleased to offer you the opportunity to purchase up to four tickets for one potential game of the World Series at Rangers Ballpark before they go on sale to the general public.

Outstanding! I never win anything and I open up my email and find this. Now I would have liked to win tickets but hey, this is nice too.

Ouch

Boy, what a tough weekend. 4 in a row...lost, gone, wrong time for this to be going on. I am thinking about the balance of the team being upset with the many individual players added recently. The mental aspect of the game is a concern. It never needs to be said, everyone knows what is at stake. Just getting into the playoffs is not enough. This team is ready for so much more. We just need something to tie it all together!

I like this pick up of Mark Prior.

29 years old, turns 30 on Sep 7, 2nd pick in the 2001 draft. 6'5" 225 Right hander, .592 winning % W49 L29 GS109 ERA3.51

"For his age he's (Mark Prior) one of the best pitchers I've seen at pitching to the situation. Usually, that's what veteran pitchers do. Instead of trying to get this guy out and that guy out, he has an idea and a plan on what he wants to do." - Manager Dusty Baker on MLB.com (December 4, 2003)

Mark spent a month with the Flyers as a relief pitcher, throwing 11.0 innings over nine outings, striking out 22 of 44 total batters faced while not allowing an earned run.

If Mechanics are still an issue with Mark then I think he is coming to a great place. No one better than Nolan and mike to get it on track. They will send down the right instructions and get Mark on the right path. I like this!
